This center is named after Ronald Fatkin who passed on in 2001. Ronald was a devoted and hard-working member of our church. He served as our Historian, Treasurer, and Sunday School Teacher. It was always his wish to make more use of the Fellowship Hall for children's activities. After his passing, and in respect to his wish and the fact that he was an educator in the Allegany County School System, a plan was devised to use the Fellowship Hall as a tutoring center. The Ronald Fatkin Learning Center is now in its fourth year. Over those four years, more than 40 students have been able to take advantage of the many offerings provided by the more than 10 volunteers who have helped with the Center. Special thanks to Lois Hann for all of her efforts that make the Center so successful!
